okay, I think I'm going to leave DA.

I've been considering this for a long time. I joined because I heard it was a fun place to put forth your opinions and philosophies and have them seriously considered, a place where you could appreciate art without people calling you a fag.

All that was wrong. Even the people who got me into DA treat me like s**t here, and it's not just one person. It's just about everyone.

I've been no saint, but never have I said anything or done anything hurtful unprovoked.

I am very interested in writing and philosophy and so I was overjoyed that a place such as DA exists, but as with every community-website its population is its undoing. I don't hate any of you, but please stop being such dicks, really. It will do you all some real good.

I don't have very much else to say, except I hope you don't get the wrong idea from this. I'm not being moody or anything, I just don't really see the point anymore. Close to everything I submit is either called a load of bollocks or misinterpreted so disgustingly that... oh whatever.
I'm not leaving the people here, only the place itself, though one or two of you can stay to be perfectly honest, though if you think you're one of them you're probably not.

there is plenty more I could say here, but I don't want to be too offensive to the management of DA, who have for the most part done a spectacular job.

I realise that leaving will push me farther apart from some of my friends, many of them in fact, but if they really want to talk to me I'll still be there, just not here.
